Art & Nature Workshops

This unique stress-relieving seasonal workshop blends in-gallery art viewing with the Japanese tradition of shinrin yoku - forest bathing and artmaking.

Each session will begin with a focused art viewing and in-gallery intention circle, followed by a silent meditation walk on the McMichael’s grounds. Back in the studio, participants will reflect on their experience by creating a piece of art inspired by the natural environment. An art sharing circle will conclude the event.

Please dress accordingly to be outside for an extended period, including comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, bug spray etc.
