McMichael ArtVenture Summer Camp

This year, we've invited experienced painting masters to use the McMichael's grounds as inspiration and as an open studio space. This program, designed for more advanced young artists, will lead participants through the entire artistic process from a preliminary drawing to a final masterpiece, allowing campers to experiment with various painting mediums that are particularly suited to working in an outdoor setting. Working from the iconic Tom Thomson's shack and en plein air sketch-out session with a professional landscape artist, will further animate this fantastic master workshop.
