Looking at art of great painters, such as Tom Thomson will offer a unique starting point to the exploration of the painting medium. In the studio, campers will work on their own artistic practice by taking part in a variety of traditional and unorthodox projects, allowing them to further understand the painting medium and successfully apply their personal creative process. The visit to see Tom Thomson: North Star with the exhibition curator, Ian Dejardin, the McMichael Executive Director will provide a special moment during this session.
