Session 1: Art & Nature Explorers (Ages 5-6)
McMichael ArtVenture Summer Camp
July 4 to 8
Kick off the summer by getting up close with art and nature! Campers will polish their observation skills outdoors by studying the diversity of the Humber River Valley and will discover the McMichael s Minokamik Garden with the horticulturalist Lynn Short. Indoors, campers will draw connections from their observations of the natural world to art in the Gallery s collection by participating in sketching activities, gallery viewing, and storytelling. These activities will come together in studio projects designed to nurture an appreciation of both art of nature.
